Update: Iran denies Mossad is capable of running ops in Iran. The truth is Israel's probably been running agents in Iran since the revolution. But since everything coming out of Iran these days is all about painting a picture of an unstoppable Islamic conquest, it wouldn't do to have the world know Israel's got hundreds of agents planted at many levels.

Yasser Arafat, thug meister, martyr, typical mid east leader is dead. But his legacy lives on. The path to power and wealth in Palestinian areas lies not in consensus or bridge building, but with guns in hand and a greedy grip on foriegn aid.

A simple poor village boy made good, Saddam did his best to purify the country of Iraq. Yes he went a tad overboard at times. But this is the middle east, where death is welcome among many, and political enthusiasm is expressed through bullets and bombs.

UPDATE: Saddam is still dead. But his spirit lives on among his tribal members, former Baathist pinheads, and others who long for simpler times.
