Barak Obama continues to surge, so this page.....

British publication touts Republicans moving towards Barak. It's a given that some Republicans and Democrats will support opposition candidates with cash if it's perceived they have a chance at winning. Others, generally living at the trough of "governmental service" through careers and contacts obtained through political involvement, are easily swayed as their personal futures come into doubt.  Others tend to follow the "public mood", having no real political beliefs themselves beyond "winning".

We-thinks this current phenom is being over-blown by overly excited reporters and editors. The fact is that many Republicans admire Obama because to date he's NOT been one of your typical liberal hatchet candidates. He's not revealed an endless stream of hate towards Republicans, typical of a Clinton or an Edwards. Cracks are appearing, but he's still thought of as a more benign representation of liberal goals.

In the end, there will be no mass migration of conservatives to the liberal/leftist movement. A few high profile careerists will switch. Business interests, as always, will go with whoever they perceive helps their bottom line. And a few conservatives, fearing another Clinton White House {this time controlled by the very soul of the clinton-power-couple}, may decide to support the lesser of two evils.

This can hardly be called "Republicans Moving Towards Barak Hussein Obama".
------------------------------------------------
In a bone-headed move, proving that neither strategies or tactics are weapons in Barak Obama's arsenal, it's been announced that Obama's running away from a scheduled FoxNews sponsored debate between Democrat candidates.

The announcement follows closely John Edward's pouting, doing the same thing.

Unable to win arguments the old fashioned way, Leftists posing as bloggers and PACmen, are apparently scaring Democrats into doing the irrational these days.

Because these Leftists are largely byproduct of incestual think-tanking  between themselves in the dark lonely corners and alleyways of the internet, they've come to believe  they have some mysterious power to  convince average Americans to see the evil of their ways .  THEN  average joes will join these enlightened  better-than-thous , empowering them and their left of left desires for socialistic toltarianism.

Barak HAD a chance to lay claim to being some new Democrat, broadening his appeal beyond the typical.
All's he done now is to solidify support from those who hate FoxNews, Pres. Bush, Republicans, American values, etc. Many of those guys don't even vote, preferring to attend social functions masquerading as protests.

Unfortunately for Barak, there's no end to the list of demands now placed on him by motivated malcontents.

Nice knowin you sir!

Mr. Obama has solidified his threat to a Hillary Presidency
by raising 23.5 million bucks for primary fights.

Hillary, who started off her campaigning with the message that "her nomination was inevitable", is now realizing that Barak has a real opportunity to dethrone her.

African-american voters have already been moving in Obama's direction. Hillary was forced recently to cement her support from radical femminists such as NOW. Her "conversations" have lost their importance, having become just one more scheme in a list of schemes as she tries to wing it past pertinent questions.
"Ms Clinton, how is it you yourself made the case for removing Saddam, when you now deny any responsibility for our involvement in Iraq?"

On the Democrat "purity" scale, Obama is heads above Hillary's calculating self-serving approach. It's well accepted that Hillary's full-blown support for action in Iraq was to eliminate the Democrat's weak-on-defence reputation. She's known since Bill was in office that she would be running for president. ALL things between then and now can be traced directly to her craving for Presidential power.

Barak Obama is clean. He's not spent the last 20 years calculating his way up the food chain.  Even as a full blown liberal, his apparent honesty is refreshing to many conservatives. He's not yet revealed some decades long pent-up bitterness of a Hillary. He's not yet divided us all into selfish interests, groups, sub groups, offshoots, etc. of a Hillary OR an Edwards.

Since Hillary's real views are to far left of left for average voters, she resorts to misdirection, misrepresentaions, and constant revisions of history. Her best hope of knocking out Barak will be his own missteps, or digging up some dirt from his past. Clintonian Politics Of Personal Destruction, fundamental to any run for office, is something the Clintons have clutched to their breasts as a scoundral's last line of defence. When that hammer falls on Obama, it will be interesting to see if Mainstream Media treats Hillary and Obama equally, or if the closet racism in MM will rear its horns.

In the end, Hillary and Bill Clinton may not have enough dirt on everyone opposing them to ensure her win. Their enemies list {which makes Nixon look like an amateur}, all their hidden files {likely rivaling J Hedgar Hoover's}, may not be enough this time around.

Jesse Jackson, in a calculated move meant to usurp Al Sharpton's self-appointed leadership, endorsed Barak Obama for President.

Jesse, while not wielding the influence sometimes portrayed, is still important to Barak as he continues to eat into the Black Democrat support which normally goes to white Democrats.

This is not good news for Hillary Rodham Clinton
. She's white. The plantation-politics used for so many decades by white Democrats to control the African-American community is starting to crack. High profile visits to southern Black churches, pretending to be "one of you", is more transparent than ever, especially now that Blacks have legitimate choices.

Barak's been called many things: white, inauthentically Black, inexperienced, a lightweight, shallow, etc.  The truth is Barak is a highly educated true-believer from the left, and he lacks the corruption of a Clinton. He may be wrong on most issues, but that's for voters to decide.

Hillary just received the endorsement of NOW. NOW already proved where its allegiances lay when it supported Bill Clinton during his shameful time in office. When one woman after the other stepped, or was pushed forward into the limelight to reveal Bill's propensity to take NO for YES with women, NOW was there to support Bill and cast suspicious shadows on the powerless females of Bill's obsession.
Hillary IS to the left of Barak. In truth, she never left that side. In acheiving the goals of the left, ALL things are tolerable, even one man's prediliction for sexual assault.

Al Sharpton throws a hissy fit over Barak Obama's success.

Al's been trying for some time now to leverage his substantial influence over a tiny percentage of the African-American community. He'd like to get respect from Barak and recieve the praise, adulation, and recognition that is his due.

Reports are also claiming that Al was hankering to make a vanity-run for President again. Last time around Al was able to make a decent livin for a few months, stayin at fine hotels, eating sumptuous food, all on the taxpayer's dime through public campaign funds. He also went quite far in dispelling the view some had of him as a salesman for hair straightening
  products.

Barak, whether he wins or loses the Democrat nomination, became the first electable Black to run for the office. We at the BCB believe Al's taken this to the next level, personal. He deserves something out of this.
He had successfully displaced Jesse Jackson as the presumed self-appointed leader in charge of African-Americans after some bruising moments, only to witness Obama come along and boot him off in a few weeks.  He's going to withhold his endorsement, while slamming Barak from the sidelines, hoping to trade in his influence for respect from SOMEBODY.

Barak, in a bone thrown to an often neglected voter base, claimed "Nobody is suffering as much as the palestinian people".

This is surely news to the many in Africa who die by the hundreds of thousands every year due to starvation, disease, civil strife, the slaughter of christians by muslims, etc.

His idealogical sympathies, and middle name Hussein, should help him to lock up the muslim vote, as well as Arabs and former Arab-Americans living here taking advantage of the many infidellish benefits our country has to offer.

Barak failed to mention that much of the suffering is the direct result of a palestinian leadership which pockets much of the foreign aid they get. Besides enriching their off-land accounts, money gets spent on hiring enough guys with guns to maintain their grip on the enterprise. Infrastructure needs go umet. Education is largely a way to keep the bitterness breeding and brooding. hamaskiddie2.jpg So far it's worked to perfection.

Barak Obama is gaining such a level of support, that media interests sympathetic to Hillary Clinton's run are proceeding with the hit pieces on Barak, thinly veiled, and some not so.

News of investments made by Barak's broker raised alarms at the New York Times.
***
This shocking development comes on top of Barak allegedly having taken to much credit for an accomplishment of some kind. THAT story was in the LA Times. We find it hard to imagine how a politician would take undue credit for something.

The media, previously amused by Barak's run , has become concerned that he could actually win. Well how else does one explain their focus on him, while ignoring the mountain of Hillary & Bill stuff, past and present?
Hillary's let it be known that all their personal things are off limits. In Hillary's world, ALL things are personal, including the numerous money-related scandals of the past, and the new ones brewing. To date, the media machine has kept the lid on Hillary scandal. They must do this as long as it takes to knock the uppity Obama down a few notches.

ABC News article mentions the NAACP and the its dilemma of influence.

It only touches on the differences between those who support Barak, and those who are safely in the Hillary Gulag.

The leaders of the NAACP are surely nervous at this stage. If they were to ever come out and officially endorse Barak prior to the completion of a Democrat candidate being chosen, they will feel Hillary's wrath in ways they didn't know existed.

In the meantime, they are losing their grip on a segment of the population. In the past, marching orders could be given, and they'd be followed. With the Barak candidacy, they're losing control. Young African-American voters see real hope in Barak. Even long-timers recognize something new. This is no Sharpton/Jackson vanity run. Barak has a legitimate opportunity at capturing the nomination.

How does the NAACP maintain its control, while staying out of the fray?

Barak has the potential to split the African-American community. This would be a welcome development, and place it along side the other communities which are already split. After all, we are a nation of individuals, not communities.
